Every piercing can be life changing. Even a simple lobe piercing can change the way you view yourself and make you feel more like the truest form of you, but what we class as a life changing piercing has a bit of a different meaning when looking at all the different piercings we offer. Large gauge piercing, intimate piercing, cheek/dahlia piercing - all of these are what we class as more intense forms of piercing, and ones that require more consideration before performing them. Anatomy checks, informing you of the various risks, setting realistic expectations for the journey of healing. These piercings all require a prior conversation to some degree, so we prefer you come and chat to us in advance before deciding to book in. 

Some of these heavier piercings, we may set a wait time for you to truly consider the piercing before we'll perform it for you - especially for cheek piercings! We will give you all the information you need and give you a very real on what this piercing involves, and this is one we want you to have a strong think about before committing to it. We are never trying to talk you out of it, but if any of the facts and reality discourage you from that piercing - then that is the intention. If it may not suit your lifestyle, if it may be too intense of a heal, we'd rather you know this beforehand than find out when you've already spent your money and have the procedure done. Big piercings are not for everyone and that's okay!
